If required, the insurance cover will be provided under the ExtraCover Insurance scheme, which is run by Yorkshire-based brokers Marshall Wooldridge, who have been managing the ExtraCover Insurance scheme for 4 decades.

The good news is that whether you order a new mobile cricket cage, a new sight screen or both, the insurance cover will come at no cost to your club and you’ll be safe in the knowledge that should anything happen you’ll have appropriate cover in place.

An insurance claim will see the remedial work carried out by us as soon as possible, with the insurance payments processed at a later date in order to minimise the time clubs spend without access to their equipment. A typical scenario would see damage reported to us on a Monday after perhaps wind has blown over some sight screens on Sunday night. We would aim to be out to carry out remedial works that week* to ensure that there is no drop in the standard of facility or cricket on offer.
