Run Bund Helps Warwickshire CCC Pre-Season Practice
Warwickshire County Cricket Club have erected a marquee at Edgbaston Cricket Ground for pre-season practice.
Here’s what head groundsman Gary Barwell had to say about our Run Bund product which solved the issue of water ingressing underneath the curtain and soaking the grass practice areas inside the marquee.
Interview With Gary Barwell
“This product is outstanding, we have put them in the marquee and had well over 100mm of rain in 2 weeks. No water has run through onto the rub ups, which is what was happening before the Run Bund was there. A must for any ground.”
The Run Bund is primarily aimed at stopping water from getting onto a match wicket that you wish to keep dry, but this example shows that it is useful in any scenario where water movement from one area to another needs to be prevented.
