Durant Cricket employs the innovative “Ezy Run track and join system,” allowing for the seamless spanning of roof trusses. Additionally, we design and manufacture various support brackets ourselves, ensuring that all components are tailored to our desired standards of perfection.
To enhance user experience and safety, we further provide self-lubricating trolleys and include batting end sight screens as standard. Lanyard cords are also included to prevent the “misshaping” of nets, which is crucial for maintaining their integrity during use. Furthermore, their weighted bottom edge design ensures that the cricket nets sit properly, avoiding any unnecessary billowing.
Furthermore, here at Durant Cricket we pay attention to safety with flame retardant sight screens treated to BS 5867 part 2 type B standards, assuring a secure environment.
The Net Instalment Process
Identify and install secure attachment points on the ceiling. These points will be used to hang the netting. Ensure that they are anchored to the building’s structure and can support the weight and force of cricket balls.
Hang the netting from the ceiling attachment points. Make sure it’s properly stretched and securely fastened. The netting should be positioned to create distinct batting lanes and a bowling area.
Before allowing players to use the facility, thoroughly test the netting and the space for safety and functionality. Ensure that the netting can contain cricket balls effectively.
